Annual Fundraiser Dinner 'A Taste of the Future': OCTOBER 2

Each year, the SARC hosts an exciting fundraiser dinner featuring bountiful harvests from the Central Coast, culinary delicacies prepared by local chefs and celebrated guest speakers in the field of sustainable agriculture. This year's special guest speaker will be one of 'Cal Poly's Own,' Tim LaSalle, former Cal Poly professor, now CEO of the Rodale Institute, America's leader in organic agricultural research!

'A Taste of the Future' will take place on October 2 at the new Congregation Beth David temple, San Luis Obispo's first new LEED certified ("green") building. Join us in this beautiful rural setting for an unforgettable meal and to learn more about our Cal Poly programs. Your participation in this event helps enable the SARC to continue providing quality experiences in sustainable agriculture for farmers, students and community members.  In-kind gifts are also welcomed, and all gifts are tax deductible.

Our 2007 fundraiser dinner was held at the historic Mission Asistencia in Santa Margarita with special guest speaker Paul Dolan.

For more information, or to be included as a volunteer for the next event, please contact SARC Program Associate, Hunter Francis, at (805)756-5086.
